Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common questions about implementation, assessment, and institutional adoption.

Can we use MSgames in a single course without adopting it programme-wide?
Yes. MSgames can be adopted for a single course, faculty member, or programme. Institutions do not need to implement it across the entire curriculum. This allows departments to pilot the platform before considering broader adoption.
Can institutions co-create proprietary tools with MSgames?
Yes. We work with institutions to develop custom simulations, cases, and assessment tools aligned with their curriculum, learning outcomes, or industry focus. These solutions are designed for the institution's specific academic requirements.
Does this increase faculty workload?
No. MSgames is designed to reduce administrative effort by automating much of the grading, participation tracking, and performance analytics. This allows faculty to spend more time facilitating discussions and interpreting learning outcomes rather than managing assessments.
How is MSgames priced?
We offer flexible pricing based on institutional needs, including per-student, per-course, bundled, and institution-wide licensing models. Pilot programmes can also be structured before a broader deployment.
Why use MSgames instead of ChatGPT or other AI tools?
General AI tools respond to prompts. MSgames is built specifically for higher education — with structured simulations, built-in assessment, performance reports, and faculty controls. We use AI where it helps, but the platform is designed around learning outcomes, not just content generation.
Which institutions use MSgames?
MSgames is an initiative officially associated with IIT Bombay and is used by more than 80 institutions, including IIM Bangalore, IIM Calcutta, IIM Lucknow, IIM Kozhikode, SPJIMR, and IMI Delhi. The platform has been developed in collaboration with educators and has been adopted across leading management institutes in India.
Can I use MSgames on a mobile device?
MSgames is optimized for laptops and desktop computers. While some content may be accessible on mobile devices, the platform's simulations, dashboards, and interactive activities are designed for larger screens to provide the best learning experience.
Can MSgames be used for undergraduate, postgraduate, and executive programmes?
Yes. Faculty can tailor simulations and assessments to different learner groups by adjusting decision complexity, analytical depth, and evaluation criteria. This makes the platform suitable for undergraduate, postgraduate, executive education, and professional development programmes.
Is MSgames aligned with accreditation frameworks such as AACSB, EQUIS, or NBA?
Yes. MSgames generates evidence of applied learning and assessment that can support Assurance of Learning (AoL) processes. The platform helps institutions document learning outcomes, student performance, and assessment data in a structured and transparent manner.
Do I need to install anything to use MSgames?
No. MSgames is browser-based and does not require you to install any software or applications. You can access the platform using a supported web browser on your laptop or desktop.
