SimLabs: A Pedagogy Lab for Simulation Development and Simulation-Based Teaching
MSgames and IIM Lucknow will jointly offer SimLabs: A Pedagogy Lab for Simulation Development and Simulation-Based Teaching, a three-day residential Faculty Development Programme at the IIM Lucknow campus from 19 to 21 February 2027. The programme, directed by Prof. Girish Balasubramanian (Human Resource Management) and Prof. Arvind Shroff (Operations and Supply Chain Management), covers the full simulation lifecycle: designing a simulation, teaching with one, and deploying established India-context simulations. Participants will work hands-on with three MSgames simulations, including technical setup and debrief design, and will practise running live decision rounds and structured debriefs with peer feedback. Working in small groups, each participant will develop a simulation concept note and storyboard based on their own course, along with a clear path to making it classroom-ready. The programme is open to faculty from business schools and universities across all functional areas and levels of seniority, as well as postdoctoral researchers, early-career scholars and PhD scholars in management and allied disciplines. No prior experience in simulation design is required. Registration is open until 1 February 2027.

Faculty Development Programme on Experiential Learning in Classrooms: Design and Application
MSgames and IMI New Delhi will jointly host Experiential Learning in Classrooms: Design and Application, a two-day Faculty Development Programme on 27–28 November 2026 at the IMI New Delhi campus. Across nine sessions, participants will first play a business simulation as learners and then examine its design from the instructor’s side. They will go on to build an original simulation from their own case or research and deploy it on the MSgames Case Simulator, leaving with a simulation ready to run in their own classroom. The programme also covers debrief design, classroom facilitation, rubrics that assess the quality of decisions, and AI-enabled oral assessment, with pedagogy modules led by Prof. Devasheesh Mathur of IMI New Delhi. It is open to business school faculty across disciplines, doctoral scholars who teach, and corporate L&D professionals, and no prior technical experience is required. Seats are limited to 30 participants and allotted on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants receive a joint certificate from MSgames and IMI New Delhi, and selected simulations may be published on the MSgames platform with credit to the faculty author.
